    Dear Parents and Guardians,


    This Spring over 1,100 districts, including Falconer, will be participating in computerized-based testing (CBT) in April and May as part of the New York State Grades 3-8 English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics Tests. Part of the transition to computerized-based testing is to make sure districts around the state have the technology and network capacity to participate in CBT.

    To do this, Falconer will be taking part in a statewide CBT simulation to test our network. Fenner will participate in the simulation on March 5 and the Middle School on March 11. Students will sign in using a generic username and password and take a practice test lasting around 40 minutes. No student responses will be scored as part of this practice. The goal of the simulation is to provide CBT administration experience in the school and an opportunity for students to practice with the online tools and navigate the online exam.

    Please contact your child’s principal if you have any questions or concerns about the simulation or the upcoming computerized-based testing in the Spring.
